meals

At CBI, meals bring students together. We provide three meals daily to keep everyone fueled and connected. Breakfast is continental, with a snack kitchen for simple prep. Lunch and dinner are freshly made in our commercial kitchen by interns and staff—meals that are hearty, nutritious, and satisfying.

Staff Serving

Our staff makes it a priority to serve students during lunchtime. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a time for fellowship, conversation, and building relationships. Sharing this time together helps create a strong sense of community across campus.

One woman is standing with her back to the camera, wearing a black and denim jacket, while the other woman is facing her, smiling. The woman facing the camera has long brown hair, wears a red shirt and an olive green zip-up hoodie.

Dish Teams

Students take part in the practical side of the kitchen by serving on dish teams. These teams rotate weekly, giving everyone a chance to help out. After each meal, the assigned team cleans the kitchen and cafeteria. This not only helps care for the space we’ve been given, but also encourages responsibility and a servant-hearted attitude.
